Year One Sciences

Program Description

Year One in Sciences will prepare you to enter a bachelor’s degree in the field of your choice at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Upon successful completion of this program and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may continue with your undergraduate studies at UTSA. Dedicated to changing and saving lives, the College of Sciences advances scientific literacy and equality in South Texas and beyond. Our academic departments are aligned with numerous research centers and institutes that allow both undergraduate and graduate students to help transform scientific discoveries into tangible, life-changing solutions. The UTSA College of Sciences offers Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in a variety of scientific disciplines that prepare students for success after graduation and throughout life. Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements

New students must complete the application to the UTSA International Pathway and submit required documentation to be considered for admission.

HOW TO APPLY TO UNDERGRADUATE PATHWAY

  1. Apply online at ApplyTexas.org or CommonApp.org
  2. Complete the “International” application
  3. Pay $70 application fee.
  4. Submit official high school or secondary school transcripts/mark sheets (plus English translation if in another language; 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale).
  5. Submit English language proficiency test scores
