Study Abroad Application

UTSA Education Abroad Services Application Form. Online application form due October 15 for Spring semesters and March 15 for Fall semester. This application is required for all UTSA study abroad programs. It allows the Study Abroad office to verify that you meet all of the requirements for study abroad programs at UTSA.

Financial Commitment Agreement. Signed pdf form due no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 30th for Fall semesters and October 31st for Spring semesters. Please print, sign, and submit it to your program coordinator. This is your commitment to the program. Since the university covers the bulk of the program fee until your financial aid or scholarships disburse (in most cases, only 10 days before the program begins) this verifies your commitment to the posted payment plan.

Study Abroad Deposit Slip. The deposit slip must accompany your first two payments to Fiscal Services. The slips provide Fiscal Services with information required to credit you with the payment and ensure that the payment is made to the appropriate university account.

Budget Sheet for Financial Aid and Scholarship Applications. You may use this form for your financial aid and scholarship applications. Please note that the form has been designed specifically for these applications and applies to all Urbino program. The amounts indicated on the form may not necessarily reflect the amounts spent by individuals. For example, the estimated flight cost is based on a standard flight, the cost of books may be much cheaper, and many students economize to spend less on personal expenses.

Global Study Center at Urbino, Italy serves as UTSA's commitment to internationalization, multiculturalism, and diversity. Recognizing the value in having a strategic location to elevate the university’s international profile, GSC Italy also serves as the first UTSA Global Study Center supporting the facilitation of UTSA’s activities throughout Italy and neighboring European countries, including student/faculty exchange, study abroad, and inter-campus educational partnerships.

John Murphy "Working with the University of Urbino, beginning in 2010 we have constructed an amazing infrastructure to provide an immersive and life changing experience for those that take advantage of our opportunities in Italy. GSC Italy assists all UTSA colleges in development of European centered activities to maximize the synergies among diverse disciplines. We work very hard to create programming that crosses disciplinary and cultural lines within our own UTSA colleges and the University of Urbino."
