“While in China, my peers and I had the opportunity to visit Shanghai, Tianjin and Beijing. We visited multiple businesses and universities and gained deeper perspective of the Chinese corporate culture, history and social norms. We were welcomed by locals who did everything they could to leave a lasting impression and represent their country and people in the best light. One of my favorite memories was climbing the Great Wall of China alongside people from all over the world and making lifelong friends at the Tianjin Normal University. My corporate visits and cultural engagements in China ultimately allowed me to challenge my personal beliefs and ideas, while inspiring me to take on newly refined goals.”
