“As the daughter of Mexican parents, this trip to Mexico was my first time being fully immersed into the culture. While there, I attended ITAM University where many presidents and government officials graduated from. I learned all about Mexican art, history, economics and indigenous roots and got the chance to visit multiple businesses and manufacturing plants. One of my favorite memories was visiting the Bimbo factory in Mexico City and seeing how the products were made because I grew up eating all of their pastries!”
