International Student Welcome Events- Fall 2026

Welcome, new Roadrunners! Get ready to kick off your UT San Antonio journey with our welcome events designed especially for you. These events are designed to help you settle in, connect with peers, and learn about life as an international student at UT San Antonio.

International New Student Orientation

Date: Thursday, August 13, 2026 
Purpose: Start your UT San Antonio journey at the International Student Orientation- a full‑day program with key campus resources, a resource fair, and free breakfast and lunch.

Please note that your depending on your status (English Language Center, Undergraduate, Visiting Exchange Student, Master’s level, or PhD Level), your program host (ELC), the College in which are enrolling, your home academic department, and/or The Graduate School might be hosting separate welcome events and even mandatory orientation meetings. We strongly encourage you to prioritize the mandatory International Student Orientation and, where possible, also attend any meetings your program / College/ department is hosting, as each provides unique and important information. If there is a conflict of mandatory meetings, please communicate with us for guidance, as soon as you are aware.

Welcome Social

Date: Friday, August 14, 2026
Purpose: Celebrate your arrival with a fun, relaxed social event! Meet our mascot, Rowdy, connect with other international students, enjoy activities, food, and lots of goodies! 

Please save the date! More details will be shared soon, and a reservation link will be sent closer to the event so you can sign up once the time and location are confirmed.

Success Series

Date: TBD
Purpose: Five workshops, once a week, featuring campus experts to help you thrive academically, socially, and professionally. Learn with lunch and refreshments.
