COLFA Semester in Urbino, Italy hosted by Dr. Drew Stephen

The COLFA Semester in Urbino invites you to spend 13 weeks in the historical walled city of Urbino—World Heritage Site and renowned center of Italian literature, art, and culture. You will complete a full semester of UTSA courses while you immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of Italy. Explore the ancient streets of Urbino and travel with your professors to Rome, Florence, Venice, and other historical cities. You can study abroad on an exchange program while paying your regular UTSA tuition.

Semester Exchange at The Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany hosted by Christian Tischer

The Technical University of Darmstadt is one of the leading technical universities located in the “City of Science”. With areas of study in engineering, mathematics, and natural sciences, The Technical University of Darmstadt is a wonderful destination for STEM students, but offers courses across various disciplines. The language of instruction is English and German.⁠ You can study abroad on an exchange program while paying your regular UTSA tuition.

International Scholarships to Study Abroad, do Research or Attend Grad School Abroad hosted by Andrew Chapman 

Dr. Chapman covers several scholarship opportunities to study abroad (UTSA-based awards, affiliate program scholarships, and national awards). We will go over how to prioritize award applications and strategies for writing a successful application. Awards covered include the Gilman Scholarship, the Critical Language Scholarship, the Boren Scholarship and the Fulbright Student Program, which can send students abroad on funded graduate programs, research positions, and English teaching positions.

Summer Study Abroad at La Rioja University in Spain hosted by Cristina Fernandez Yecora

Founded in 1992, the University of La Rioja (UR) has been officially awarded as “Campus of International Excellence” by the Spanish Ministry of Education after an assessment from an international committee. Semester Exchange Program at Tecnológico de Monterrey, hosted by Antonio Santos Ceja Medina

At Tecnológico de Monterrey, students can participate in one of 4 different campuses around Mexico: Guadalajara, Mexico City, Puebla, and Queretaro. Monterrey, capital of the northeastern Mexican state of Nuevo León, is a sprawling business and industrial center fringed by mountains. One of the oldest universities in the world founded in 1303, Sapienza University of Rome is a historical site. This institution boasts high levels of excellence in archaeology, physics, humanities and cultural heritage, environmental studies, cellular and gene therapy, and design, with the language of instruction in Italian and English! You can study abroad on an exchange program while paying your regular UTSA tuition.
