Program Budget
Developing a budget for your program is an important step in the planning process. When creating your budget, please keep the information below in mind.
Budget Goals
- Identify all expenses you will have during the course of your program.
- Student numbers: your budget should be written for a set number of students that can feasibly be recruited and supported.
- Exchange rates: the rates constantly change so budget a bit more than you expect to pay.
- Economic Conditions: ensure that political and economic conditions will not present barriers to the success of your program.
- Research actual prices from vendors in the program location, using local currency.
- Know what program funds can and cannot be used to purchase certain items.

Financial Aid & Scholarships
Students may use federal and state financial aid, alternative and private loans, and grants to finance study abroad programs. Students should meet with a financial aid advisor at One Stop Enrollment to learn about the process of applying their financial aid package to a study abroad program.
More information regarding financial aid options for study abroad can found on the One Stop Enrollment Study Abroad page. When applying for financial aid, students will need to fill out a Study Abroad Financial Aid Request Form.
There are many scholarship opportunities for students to study abroad. A list of all scholarships is located on our Education Abroad Funding page.
