Pre-Departure Orientation
All students at UTSA who participate in a Study Abroad experience (undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral) are required to attend a Pre-Departure Orientation during the semester prior to your term abroad. There are no exceptions.
If you are participating in a UTSA-led program, check with your program leader to determine which orientation is appropriate for your program.
During the Pre-Departure Orientation, you will learn about the following:
- Health and safety issues relevant to your travel
- Social media and website dos and don'ts abroad
- General culture topics
- Administrative items that must be completed before you depart
Pre-Departure Orientations
- March 27th, 10-12pm (Friday)
- April 7th 11-1pm (Tuesday)
- April 22nd, 12-2pm (Wednesday)
- May 7th, 3-5pm (Thursday)
- May 29th, 10-12pm (Friday)
