Q: What is SALA?

A:  The San Antonio Language Academy (SALA) is a new joint initiative between Global Initiatives and the Department of Modern Languages that will provide language immersion experiences comprised of courses, activities, meals, and local faculty-led field trips. For 6 hours a day, program participants will have the opportunity to experience IN PERSON a unique cultural experience and improve the language of their choice right here in San Antonio. SALA is an experiential learning opportunity that will be offered to ANYONE that would like to improve their Spanish, Korean, or Japanese.
